I like to capture life for what it is, not for what it could be. My sketchbook is the core of my practice. Drawing is a form of grounding for me, capturing the essence of chaos that is life. I wish to bring attention to those forgotten and mundane moments that make up living.

As an indecisive perfectionist I feel pen is the perfect medium to use. I work with glass and textiles to use both of their unique properties to bring my drawings to life and make them more tactile and interactive. I use glass for its transparency to try to convey how these moments can blend into each other and interact with each other in memory. I use weaving as a canvas for sublimation prints of my sketches.

I am currently on a journey of exploration of colour through the use of markers and collage, challanging myself out of the box of black and white.

For me, making has never just been about the product, it is about every stage of making, learning and developing as an artist.
